Experience & Metrics

Since the foundation of both networks in 1984 (urologists) and 1987 (gynaecologists) experience has been build up in conducting phase II, III and phase IV trials. The urology network has carried out over one hundred projects and the gynaecology network over forty. In 2004, CuraTrial joined the EAU with the ambition to expand the existing networks throughout Europe and beyond.

CuraTrial works with both pharmaceutical and medical device companies and CRO's on one hand and academic and non-academic urological institutions on the other.

Some metrics:

• Number of sites per project ranges from 2 to 140
• Number of patients/subjects per project ranges from 20 to 1300
• Duration of a project ranges from 8 weeks to 9 years
